The Computer Merchant Ltd. is presently seeking a Java Web Developer with a TS/SCI Security Clearance to support a Fortune 200 Company in their client's facility in Charleston, South Carolina.

This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity with potential for extension or conversion to permanent employment.

Policies:

Must currently hold an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Must be able to complete and pass both a drug test & background investigation.

Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate will contribute web development skills on a client program to design and develop a service enabled web-portal prototype.



Duties will include: gather requirements from system users; identify applicable data sets through open standards and specifications; actively participate on an integrated project team; other related tasks as necessary to maintain project schedule.



Required Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor's Degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent and ten to twelve years of related experience. At least five years web development experience; active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.



Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:

Web Services
WSDL
SOAP
Java/J2EE
JMS
Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns; experience with service oriented architecture (SOA) design, XPath/XQuery, UDDI.
